In the event SignPost is not the right service for you we will do our utmost to put you in touch with one that is. &lt;strong &gt;Enquiries can be made by phone in person or by e-mail.&lt;/strong&gt; Signpost provides a comprehensive assessment by trained friendly workers using the Forth Valley Screening referral form. This means you need only provide this information once and not every time you move service. &lt;strong &gt;Signpost guarantees to offer a local appointment for assessment within 4 working days of contact. &lt;/strong&gt;Where a referral on is requested Signpost will continue to offer support until the new agency confirms acceptance. Where appropriate Signpost will continue support in partnership with the new agency. SignPost can offer easy access to&lt;strong &gt;&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Harm Reduction</title>

 <description>&lt;h2&gt;Hard reduction services &lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Signpost harm reduction Service is currently finishing its second year of operations.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Funded through the Big Lottery Fund and starting in August 2003 the Harm Reduction service was set up to work with the more chaotic drug user. The remit of the harm reduction service is to minimalise the damage caused by drug use. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;IV drug use and the spread of blood-borne virus&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The bulk of the harm reduction services work is around IV drug use and the spread of blood-borne virus, however, the service will take on other clients engaged in dangerous drug use including solvents (VSA). The normal referral route for this service is through the core service. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;font size=&quot;4&quot;&gt;Phone the Signpost number for more advice regarding this.&lt;/font&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;The harm reduction service also offers a comprehensive equipment exchange. This includes needles and syringes, citric acid and spoons.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Equipment from other sources can also be returned to this service for safe disposal. The service provides equipment to all manner of IV drug users including steroid users resident in the Forth Valley area. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;This a door step access service and does not require a referral or assessment. Simply turn up at any of the drop-ins where exchange is available. &lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;For up to date times and the nearest access point to you phone signpost on 01259 726602.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The harm Reduction Service also has an extensive network of partner agencies and specialists in all aspects of substance use and blood borne virus testing and treatment. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For more information regarding yourself or someone else regarding this contact Signpost and ask to speak to a Harm reduction Worker. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h4&gt;In partnership with Stirling Salvation Army a harm reduction clinic is in operation from 3pm to 5pm every Thursday at the Drip Road Premises. &lt;/h4&gt;
&lt;h4&gt;Meals are also available free to anyone during these times. &lt;/h4&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is the original Signpost Service. Set up in Jan 2002 and has just completed its first service tender. Currently funded until March 2008, the core service claims to be the most transparent service in Forth Valley. &lt;/p&gt;
